Let’s either get ten feet of snow or jump back to summer. This in-between, cold-but-not-snowing weather has got to go.
In other news, I grabbed a friend and hit Suba this past Friday. Neither one of us had been there before, and we both agreed that it was not quite up to par with the hype I had heard. I can’t really put my finger on exactly what was disappointing; the service was great, the crowd was decent, the music was on … Maybe the lights were just a hair too bright. Or maybe the room was just a hair too small. I don’t know. For lack of a better way of explaining it, the experience reminded me of the first time I ate an olive. At first I hated it, but something made me want to try it again. So we’ll be back at some point, most likely on an off night, for further evaluation.

Don’t know about the lights, but I agree that the room is too small for live music with a full band. They should stick to solo or duo artists.
