June 2009 Tweetup

May’s tweetup was — as predicted — incredible.  The warm weather plus having the deck at our disposal meant a lot of new faces showed up.  I believe we wound up leaving around 11 … Am I right?  Thanks to everyone who made it out, and I hope you all return!

The next Harrisburg Tweetup is going down on Wednesday, June 17th.  7pm on the deck (weather permitting) at Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg.  If we get rained out, we’ll be inside the Abbey Bar (second floor).  If you have a blog, post on Fark, or have a Twitter account, you’re officially invited!  Added bonus:  Bottles are $2 off, so if the seasonal ABC brews on tap aren’t to your liking, that bottle of Framboise will only set you back $8.

May Tweetup

The next Central PA Tweetup is happening Wednesday, May 20th at the Abbey Bar, upstairs at Appalachian Brewing Company in Harrisburg.  We usually get started around 7pm, and people come and go throughout the night until around 9-ish.  Our get-togethers are open to any bloggers and/or Twitterers living in or around Central PA.  To be discussed:  Changing the frequency of the Tweetups.  See you there!

Harrisburg Tweetup, February 2009

This coming Wednesday (2/18) is the next edition of our Central PA Tweetup at The Abbey Bar, which is the second floor of Appalachian Brewing Company, from 7pm till whenever.  The Tweetup is open to all social media affectionados in and around Central PA, regardless of popularity, level of expertise, or experience.  More social event than anything else, it’s a chance to come out and meet some of the people behind the screen names (and, of course, to partake in whatever delicious, delicious brews ABC has on tap).

Free WiFi is available, there’s no fee to park or get in, and all ages are welcome (although things might be a bit boring and/or inappropriate for children).  Whether you plan on parking yourself in a stool for four hours straight beginning at 7pm, or just dropping in for 15 minutes, by all means come visit and say “hi”.

See you then!
