Regal Beagle Raid

ABC27 and WHP are reporting that everybody’s favorite not-even-trying-to-hide-it illegal bar was raided yesterday. The Regal Beagle, right across Second Street from the parking garage, was busted for selling alcohol without a license. Generally speaking, that’s not something you want to do to an undercover state trooper.
I was never at the RB, but judging by the crowd / fights usually visible at street level, I don’t think I missed anything. I’ll stick to ABC and Fresco, thanks.
I was in the Regal Beagle many times. I never bought any drinks because they did’nt sell any. I did notice that the police where very angry towards everyone going in. I thougt it was because the crowd was rowdy, but after attending other location downtown. I became aware of the fights and drunks leaving the so called real bars. I guess it’s like the man walking pass said. ” It’s only black people going in that will not last”.

IT WASNT ONLY A ADULT CLUB IT WAS ALSO A TEEN CLUB AND I WILL MISS IT ALOT CAUSE THE PARTY’S THEY THREW KEPT KIDS OUT THE STREETS ON WEEKENDS I WENT THERE ALOT IAM GONE MISS IT!!!!
